In some Jyotish and Tantric traditions the Rahu Mahayantra is linked with calming Rahu, the shadow planet, overcoming obstacles, focus and progress. A popular method draws it in green ink on a Saturday and keeps it in your wallet.
Please note: this is a matter of faith. There is no scientific evidence that a yantra brings money, and nothing here is financial advice.
About our sources: the number grid, the Rahu mantra and its pronunciation, the 108 chants, the Saturday timing, the green ink, keeping the yantra in a wallet and the 40-day routine all follow our source, the guide "राहु महायंत्र साधना: धन, स्थिरता और उन्नति के लिए विस्तृत पारंपरिक विधि" (Rahu Mahayantra Sadhana: a detailed traditional method for wealth, stability and progress), which is itself based on a video. We have not independently checked these details against traditional texts. Please confirm them with a teacher of your own tradition.
1. What you need
- Clean white paper
- A green pen or sketch pen
- A clean place for prayer
- A diya and incense (optional)
- A 108-bead mala for chanting
Day: Saturday · Time: a quiet morning moment after bathing
2. The 3×3 number grid
Important: this is a likely reading of the numbers shown in the source video. It is not a verified classical Rahu yantra layout — treat it as a reconstruction.

3. Simple home puja
- Prepare the space — after bathing, sit on a clean mat; light a diya and incense if you wish.
- Draw the yantra — draw nine boxes and write the numbers above; write "ॐ" around it.
- Set an intention — "I do this practice for wisdom, discipline, financial stability and fair opportunities."
- Chant — recite the mantra below 108 times.
- Keep the yantra — fold it three or four times and keep it in your wallet as a symbol of faith.
For formal prana-pratishtha or Tantric ritual, seek a qualified teacher of your own tradition.
4. The Rahu seed mantra
ॐ भ्रां भ्रीं भ्रौं सः राहवे नमः॥
Om Bhraam Bhreem Bhraum Sah Rahave Namah
- Begin on a Saturday, seated calmly in the morning.
- Chant one round of 108 on a mala.
- You may continue for 40 days — an optional discipline, not a rule with a fixed result.
5. Chanting with a diya (safely)
You can keep a diya in front of you and rest your gaze on the flame for a few moments. If the flame flickers or crackles, first check for a draught, the wick or the oil; any symbolic meaning is for reflection only. Never leave the flame unattended and keep it away from cloth and curtains. See the .
6. Other traditional Saturday remedies
- Charity: black sesame, black urad or something useful for a person in need, within your means.
- Conduct: avoid lies, deceit, greed and exploiting others financially.
- Worship: simple prayer to Durga Mata or Bhairav, as your faith guides.
- Gemstones: have a qualified astrologer review your chart before wearing gomed (hessonite); don't buy costly stones on social-media claims alone.
7. A simple 40-day routine
Money intention: alongside the practice, take concrete steps — grow income, cut unneeded spending, repay debt and save. In serious financial trouble, talk to a qualified financial adviser.
